Proofreaders:
Proofreaders are translators specialised in correcting. They check the quality of translations. They correct the style and the potential calques, mistakes… they compare the translation sentence by sentence with the original, to make sure that there are no omissions or mistranslations. Proofreading is a complicated task. It is carried out carefully, as nothing can be overlooked.
At Trio traducciones, proofreading is of utmost importance. This step is essential to guarantee the quality of the translation, avoid any mistakes and obtain a non-literal translation, that is, that it does not seem to be a translation. We take the necessary time to complete it. Our proofreaders usually work in pairs, as four eyes are better than two.
Interpreters:
We collaborate with interpreters with vast experience and training in interpreting. Thus, they have a lot of skills and are able to adapt to all situations and work under pressure.
Interpreters often experience unexpected situations: there may be more participants, difficulties or technical equipment faults. Given their vast experience, they can offer solutions and adapt to all situations so that everything works out well.
A wrong interpretation can ruin your event. That’s why we only work with the best interpreters. Most are members of the Spanish Association of Professional Interpreters.
